Pipe Cleaner Flowers Craft - Teens and Tweens
Tuesday June 13th at 4pm
Brighten up your home with colorful pipe cleaner daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, or a combination of all three, in a small clay pot. Tweens and teens ages 10 and up are invited for their own session of flower making. All supplies will be provided.

Family Paint Times: Flag Day Sky
Wednesday, June 14th at 4:30 or 6:30 pm
Paint along as we create a patriotic night sky, the perfect way to celebrate Flag Day! Ages 5 and up; under 10 must have a supervising caregiver, who is encouraged to participate!

Summer Writing Contest
June 20th - July 31st
In celebration of our 2023 Summer Reading theme, “Find Your Voice,” the library invites young writers in all genres to enter our Summer Writing Contest! Prizes will be awarded in three age categories and across genres. Writers will have the opportunity to be published on our website! Fiction, nonfiction and poetry of all kinds are welcome. Open to writers from Sterling and surrounding towns entering grades 2-12. Sponsored by the Friends of the Conant Public Library.

Family Rainbow Salt Painting
June 26th at 4pm or 6:30pm
Enjoy some quality family time as you create unique rainbow salt paintings with your name or a special phrase! Kids ages 7 and up and their caregivers are invited to design vibrant canvases to decorate your home. All materials will be provided.

Summer Reading Kickoff: Magic with Scott Martell
Wednesday, June 28 at 11 am
There’s magic in the air! Celebrate the beginning of summer in style with a fantastic show featuring Magician Scott Martell. You’ll be spellbound by dazzling tricks and surprising stunts - and, of course, laugh a lot! Afterwards, head next door to the library and check out some books to get your summer reading off to a great start. The show will happen at the First Church in Sterling. All ages.
