Wednesday, October 4th at 4:30 pm
The Picture Book Club will read Rick, the Rock of Room 214 by Julie Falatko. Come have fun with friends while we read and discuss that book and a few more, play a game or two, and create our own rock friends! Books can be checked out at the library (participants do not need to bring their copy to the meeting). Open to children in grades k-2.
Registration is required. Click here or call 978-422-6409 to register.
Meet the Ukulele!
Wednesday, October 11th at 4:30 pm
Come check out a new instrument! This basic introduction to ukulele will give young people an idea of what it’s like to learn an instrument. We will cover the parts of the uke, how it works, learn the string names and try a chord or two. For children 7 and up who are prepared to learn an instrument in a group setting.
Registration and ukulele required; a limited number of ukuleles are available to check out from the library. Click here or call 978-422-6409 to register.
Chapter Chatter Book Club
Monday October 16th at 4:30 pm
This month we will discuss Escape from Mr. Limoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein. Twelve year old Kyle has secured a coveted invite to the opening night lock in of the new town library designed by the world famous game maker Luigi Lemoncello. In the morning when the library remains locked, Kyle and the other kids must find every clue, and solve every puzzle in order to make it out. Children in grades 2-5 are invited to the library to discuss the book, participate in a scavenger hunt, and solve some puzzles of our own. Participants should have read the book before the meeting and bring the book with them; copies will be available at the library.
Registration is required. Click here or call 978-422-6409 to register.

We’ll talk (and laugh) about this timelessly appealing 20th century precursor to today’s wildly popular Big Nate. Then we will make a keepsake picture frame featuring these fabulous characters! Open to ages 5 and up with adult.
