Are you feeling overwhelmed by clutter? Join Jenna Elliott of The Naked Flower to learn how to reduce clutter and get more organized! Jenna has been a professional organizer for 13 years, and helps to reduce clutter in both the office and in the home. Presented by the Conant Public Library, this workshop will be held at the Sterling Senior Center, 36 Muddy Pond Road, Sterling, on Tuesday, April 3rd at 6:30 pm. Jenna will teach you tips and strategies to help reduce clutter and improve the functionality of your space, including utilizing your calendar and to-do list more effectively, incorporating better habits to reduce clutter and much more. Registration is suggested but not required.

Join Robert Tougias, cougar expert and author of The Quest for the Eastern Cougar, as he presents on cougar sightings and evidence of these elusive animals in the Northeast. Join us on Thursday, April 12th at 6:30 pm at the Conant Public Library to learn about the history of the eastern cougar, as well as the future of cougars living among us. Books will be available for purchase following the discussion. Registration is required.
Do you have sewing projects that you aren't sure how to complete? Come Sew with a Pro at the Conant Public Library! Sewing Pro Cathie Ryan will be on hand to assist with sewing projects on Wednesday, May 16th and Wednesday, May 23rd from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, as well as Thursday, May 31st and Thursday, June 7th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Participants should bring sewing projects, including all supplies needed as well as sewing machines, and will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration is required.
The Conant Public Library is offering a free meditation program focusing on chakras at the Sterling Senior Center at 36 Muddy Pond Road. Chakra meditation is a 7-week series, Mondays at 6:00 pm, now through Monday, April 23rd (no meeting on Patriots’ Day, April 16th). Adults of all ages are invited to attend. Discover new recipes and enjoy great food this month at the Cookbook Club! This month we will be sampling food from The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Come and Get It! by Ree Drummond. Join us on Wednesday, March 28th at 6:30 pm as we share simple, traditional recipes. Each participant chooses a different recipe, prepares the dish, and brings it with them to the library for an evening of good food, great conversation, and new recipes. Registration is required.
